Making of Underwater Cave
I love reusing leftover paint, and have come to love using wooden panels, ideal for resin work

Wood Panel
Christmas gift, a voucher that enabled me to buy four wooden panels..... thanks Sue and John xx

Acrylic layer
I re-use all paint that is left over, this paint salvaged from the table after a large ocean pour. Amazing blues

Mica Powders
Mica powders selected which are added to resin

Resin area
Mixing six micas and inks to resin is hectic, you need to be fast as the resin cures

First Resin Layer
I used six mica powders mixed with resin and also a blue ink one dark and one light to create the cave

12 hours after resin
After resin has hardened (but not fully cured) time to create the composition. I love turtles, so decided he would look great in the cave

Composition
Good thing about painting on resin, mistakes/adjustments are easily fixed by wiping with wet cloth

Add colour
Addition of colour and refining
